As our Elders on this planet, the Standing People show us how to balance our natures as a spiritual being in a physical body by connecting to Mother Earth through their roots and Father Sky through their branches.
When we stretch our arms upward, the body creates two circles. The upper circle encircles Father Sky while the lower circle encircles Mother Earth. These are the Medicine Wheels of life with the Sky Wheel bringing messages from the Spirit World and the Earth Wheel the teachers of those messages. Meeting at the heart, they form a figure eight, helping us to understand that both worlds are one.
I am looking forward to being in Ceremony with all of you. Together, we will feed our spirits to walk the Beauty Path.

In the 12th Moon Cycle, we learn how to transform our lives with a change in consciousness helped by the magic of Raven. We don’t see clearly when we use only our intellect. We are NOT our mind alone. We are heart, we are Spirit. We need Raven to help us change our consciousness to bring about a new reality for ourselves and our planet – the reality of unity and one consciousness. The reality that we are not our bodies, our emotions or our minds alone – we are an expression of Spirit.
How do we expand our consciousness as a species? Nothing happens without a request – ask Raven to help you experience more of the magic of life! Ask Raven to help you expand your consciousness! Then give your gratitudes and open your heart to the magic!

November Women’s Wheel

This month, the aspect of the truth we are working with is Sharing the Truth. How do we navigate this World of Truth versus Illusion right now? We discern in every moment, in every twist and turn while riding every wave. As energetic beings living in a physical world, our strong connection to Spirit is what gives us the confidence that we are discerning the truth.
Horse teaches us how to be of the Earth, of the physical and yet understand that we are multidimensional beings of energy. Part of Horse’s Medicine is power – by requesting help and working with Horse, we have that power of connection with Spirit. Horse helps us attain balance between the physical and spiritual worlds, allowing us to align with Spirit, living a life of truth and beauty.

October Women’s Wheel

In October, the Tenth Moon Cycle, we welcome Beaver, who teaches us how to Work with the Truth. As a builder, Beaver teaches us important lessons in co-creation. Momentum is gathering for a change in the world. If we are to co-create a world of harmony, a world where all and everything is respected and honoured, a world where the resources provided by Pachamama are used wisely and with gratitude with the next seven generations in our hearts and minds, then we must work together with each of us contributing our talents and gifts.
With so many things going on in the world, it is hard for some to know what they can do to help. But each of us has the tools at our disposal to make the biggest difference! How? Energetic work is the most powerful tool in our world – in order for any change to occur, it must happen in the energetic realm before it can physically manifest.

September Clan Mothers Circle
This month we welcome Setting Sun Woman, Clan Mother of the 9th Moon Cycle, into our hearts and our lives. This Clan Mother teaches us to Live the Truth – that we are Sacred Human Beings living in this physical world, but we are not of this world. This Clan Mother and her Totem, Bear, remind us that when we look inward, we realize we are not our bodies, but instead are vast beings of energy, of spirit. Bear reminds us that when we are able to touch, feel and hear the voice of our own Orenda, our own spiritual essence, we recognize that our potential is unlimited.
Together in ceremony, let us break the bonds of illusion that this physical world is all that is. Let us delve deep into the worlds within worlds of our spirit-selves! Let us learn to use the vast resources of our spirit-selves and share our best selves with the world!
In this time of transformation, the possibilities for positive change are in our hands. Together, we will greet the future with joy and love in our hearts, making ample space for an expansion of our consciousness where we are ready and able to move forward.

August Clan Mothers Circle
This month we welcome in She Who Heals, Clan Mother of the 8th Moon Cycle who shows us how to Serve the Truth. She and her Totem, Badger, assist us through the healing process of being human. We are here on this Earth Walk to learn and grow – our soul is here to evolve. That means accepting, embracing and learning our lessons – healing – and helping others do the same. Badger shows us how to take charge of our challenges and how to get these learning, growing and healing tasks done with drive and vigor.
Now is the time to request help from Badger and She Who Heals so we can take charge of this healing work while giving gratitudes for its grace and ease. Every step from every two-legged along the healing path raises their vibration and the vibration of the planet. Join us as we travel this path together, sharing our joys, our pains and our learnings!

June Clan Mothers Circle

This month we welcome Storyteller, Clan Mother of the 6th Moon Cycle. This Clan Mother and her Totem, Coyote, remind us that humour and using humour in stories is a sacred tradition practiced by Native societies.
When we have some wisdom, it is our responsibility to share it – those words belong to the people. My first teacher on this path, the Cherokee Elder, Rockingbear, used to talk about the “tone of the soul” – our true essence coming to life through “how” we speak our truths. This Clan Mother and Coyote teach us that learning to share our wisdom from the heart by recounting our own stories with humour, lightness and soft, round words that carry the vibration of love into the world allow them to find a home in the heart of the listener. Each of us chooses what vibration our words carry into the world. Choose wisely and speak from the heart!
Coyote also teaches us that Creator gave us Free Will Choice which means others are free to ignore our stories or take them to heart – we must be unattached to the outcome. It is only for us to share, not to insist that others follow our ways. When we forget this lesson, Coyote is sure to trip us up!

May Clan Mothers Circle

This month we work with Listening Woman, Clan Mother of the 5th Moon Cycle, who teaches how to Hear the Truth. She teaches we will never learn or expand if we do not listen. To know, hear and understand All That Is, it is up to us to pay attention, to listen with both ears, with respect and an open heart.
This Clan Mother and her Totem, Hawk, teach us how to listen. Listening is a skill that we not only do not learn in our current timing, but instead we are often taught we must get our own words in first at the expense of others or other times we are so busy thinking of what to say that we are not paying attention. This Clan Mother and her Totem, Hawk, show us how to listen so that we hear not just the words of the speaker, but the intentions behind the words. In this current world the lessons of this Clan Mother are invaluable.
Please bring a stone person that can easily fit into the palm of your hand from your own land.
As you seek this stone person, remember to ask it first if it is willing to work with you and if it is ok to take it with you. As always, we never take anything from the Earth Mother without exchange – a pinch of tobacco or mugwort or a hair plucked from your head if you have no tobacco. Afterwards, remember to ask if it would like to stay with you on your alter to continue working with you or if it would like to be put back where you found it. And as always, give it much gratitude!

The pandemic was the start of a great awakening for our species. We are evolving. This month, we Honor the Truth with Wisdom Keeper, Clan Mother of the 2nd Moon Cycle. Wisdom Keeper teaches us how to develop the Self through Honouring the Truth in all things. She shows us how to allow others their personal Truths, thus learning how to be a neutral presence in the lives of others. Are we honouring the Sacred Point of View of All Our Relations – all our fellow beings on this great Earth Mother? Are we being a neutral presence in the lives of others that encourages them on their path? Are we honouring our own Truth?
The secret to learning to honour another’s truth is found in this Clan Mother’s Totem, Lynx. Lynx is the Knower of Secrets, the knower of the hidden fire of wisdom that dwells within each of us. As our Elders on this planet, the Standing People also show us how to balance our natures as a spiritual being in a physical body by connecting to Mother Earth through their roots and Father Sky through their branches. From this place of balance and with open hearts, we hear the voices of All Our Relations.
When we open our hearts to all living things, we nurture kindness, compassion and respect for all. When we respectfully step into the world of others, we can begin to see the world from their Sacred Point of View. From this expanded Point of View, oneness flows.
