Offerings in December/January:

Clan Mothers Circle

Monday, 5 December 2022, 6:30pm-9:00pm – Tayanita Medicine Lodge and on-line

Jaguar 1 smallThis month, we welcome Gives Praise, Clan Mother of the 12th Moon Cycle, into our lives. As the Keeper of Ceremony, this Clan Mother and her Totem, Jaguar, show us that integrity and impeccability are important traits of leadership. Integrity is nothing more than walking in balance so that your thoughts, words, what is in your heart, and your actions align.

And this big cat, Jaguar, takes it one step further by showing us how to live our lives with compassion. When we walk the Beauty Path with integrity and compassion, life becomes a living ceremony where each step we take upon the Earth Mother is sacred.

I am grateful to be in ceremony with all of you in Circle. Through connection and gratitude, we will feed our spirits and regroup our energy so we can continue clearly on the Beauty Path.

Please bring your braid for the year and this month. Please also bring your drums and rattles – we have some to share.  Bring a blanket and cushion so you will be comfortable sitting and laying on the floor (although there are a couple chairs available).

As we begin winding down this year of Dreaming in the Field of Expansive Possibilities, our communal Totems, Lizard and Fluorite, remind us to keep dreaming with all that life is offering at this time, flowing with the new energies that are emerging! What is your personal energy for the year 2020? How are you engaging and working with this energy.

This circle is open to all women over the age of 12.

Vision Quest 2023 with White Star Woman, Speakinghawk and Spirit Eyes

Thursday, 15 June – Sunday, 18 June 2023 – Holme Horse Farm, Lincolnshire

Eagle BaldVision Quest is an ancient ceremony to realize our oneness with all things. It is a time to sit in Nature and revitalise our connection with Spirit. Some pray for a vision of their life’s work or an expansion or clarification, some vision to make a request, some to pray or to give gratitude, and some simply use this time to be in the moment, to reconnect to the Earth Mother, the Universe and All Our Relations.

Tobacco requests now being accepted if you wish to quest – if you wish to quest, the sooner you make the request, the sooner the energy starts shifting, and your Totems and Guides able to assist (please wrap tobacco in purple or red cloth or ribbon and put it the hands of Michelle to request to Quest).

The Vision Quest Elder: White Star Woman (visiting from the US)

Vision Quest Chief: Michelle Speaking Hawk

Fire Chief: Tracey Spirit Eyes, an experienced Vision Quest Fire Chief from our sister community in North Carolina. Tracey and I quested together many years ago. Some of you may also remember Tracey from our visit to Stonehenge several years ago.

Preparation will commence in January with monthly teaching circles. Your intention and preparation to quest will dictate the quality of your quest.

Optional but highly recommended: To help prepare for your quest, we will take a pilgrimage to Glastonbury in the days prior to the quest to visiting the Chalice Well, White or Red Springs and Pipe Ceremony on the Tor as part of purifying for your quest (not included in the cost).

Contact Michelle Speakinghawk directly for more information if you are considering questing or supporting. The Vision Quest ceremony is offered in the tradition of our teachers, Will Rockingbear and White Star Woman.

Supporters: You can also participate by assisting at base camp. This is a different form of Questing where the fire is held for the entire community. As a Supporter, you will be energetically supporting the Questors – this is an incredibly important part of the ceremony. Supporters at base camp will be in ceremony and can expect teachings, drumming, singing and Storytelling at the Sacred Fire. It takes an entire community to support a quest – please consider joining us for all or part of it!
